We’re jumping on the ricotta toast trend—but with a lavender-infused twist! This simple, flavorful recipe is creamy, crunchy, and sweet all in one bite. And the best part? Making a batch of lavender ricotta ahead of time means you’ve got an easy, flavor-packed spread ready all week!

INGREDIENTS
1 slice rustic sourdough or baguette
1 cup (8oz) ricotta cheese
2 tsp Treasured Roots Culinary
Lavender Buds
2 tbsp cream or milk
2 tbsp shelled pistachios (roughly
chopped)
1 tbsp honey
Pinch of flaky salt
Lemon zest (optional, for a bright
citrus touch)
INSTRUCTIONS
Heat cream (or milk) in microwave or on stovetop until steaming.
Add lavender buds, and steep for 15 minutes.
Strain out lavender buds, and add mixture to 1 cup of ricotta cheese. Mix well.
Toast your bread until it starts to crisp, but itsn’t fully golden.
Spread some lavender ricotta on the warm toast, then sprinkle chopped pistachios on top.
Return the assembled toast to the oven (or toaster oven) for 2-3 minutes at 375 degrees, until the ricotta is warm and the pistachios are lightly toasted.
Drizzle with honey and a pinch of flaky salt (plus optional lemon zest). Enjoy immediately.
