Lavender Honey & Berry Yogurt Parfait

This simple yet elegant parfait layers fresh fruit, crunchy granola, and a creamy lavender-infused yogurt. It is a fragrant and flavorful twist on a classic is perfect for breakfast, a midday snack, or even a light dessert.

INGREDIENTS
1 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
1 tbsp Treasured Roots Lavender Syrup:
2 tbsp Treasured Roots culinary lavender buds
2 C sugar
1 cup water
½ cup granola
1 cup mixed fresh (or frozen and thawed) berries
1 tbsp honey
½ tsp Treasured roots culinary lavender buds, lightly crushed
1 tbsp chopped nuts (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
Prepare the lavender syrup. In a small saucepan, bring one cup of water to a boil. Remove from heat and add sugar and culinary lavender buds. Let steep until cool. Strain out lavender buds and store finished syrup in the refrigerator.
In a small bowl, mix the Greek yogurt with the Lavender Simple Syrup until well combined. Let it sit for a few minutes while you prepare the other ingredients to let the flavors meld.
In two glasses or jars, layer the ingredients:
Start with a spoonful of the lavender yogurt
Add a layer of granola
Add a layer of fresh berries
Repeat until the glass is full, finishing with a dollop of yogurt on top.
Drizzle with honey, a sprinkle of Treasured Roots Culinary Lavender Buds and optional chopped nuts for a beautiful finishing touch.
