I never need an excuse to make a good espresso martini. And this one is gooooood.
While I love a classic espresso martini, adding chocolate and a hind of lavender takes it to another level. It's rich, smooth, and just the right amount of indulgent. Perfect for a cozy night in, or to kick off a fun night with friends. Cheers!
INGREDIENTS
1 shot espresso, brewed and cooled
1/2 cup milk, or alternative of choice
2 tbsp Treasured Roots Lavender Hot Chocolate Mix
1 oz vodka (optional)
1/2 oz coffee liqueur (optional)
Ice
Chocolate syrup for garnish, if desired
INSTRUCTIONS
Heat the milk in a small saucepan or microwave until steaming.
Stir in the Lavender Hot Chocolate Mix until fully dissolved. Let it cool slightly.
In a cocktail shaker, combine the cooled espresso, prepared mocha base, vodka and coffee liqueur (if using). Add a handful of ice.
Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to chill and create a frothy texture.
Strain mixture into a chilled martini glass.
Top with a dollop of whipped cream, some cocoa powder, or a lavender skewer for an elegant finish.
Note: For a non-alcoholic option, skip the vodka and coffee liqueur for a simple, luxurious lavender mocha. Serve over ice or in a warm mug for a cozy treat.
