Treasured Roots Lavender Chamomile Cold and Flu Relief

Flu season has hit hard at our house—that means extra snuggles, lots of blankets, and pulling out all our coziest remedies. Our go-to? A warm cup of Lavender Chamomile Tea to ease symptoms and bring some comfort.

Why it helps:

💜 Soothes scratchy throats – Chamomile’s anti-inflammatory magic + warm steam = instant relief.

💜 Eases congestion – A few deep breaths of lavender-infused steam can help clear stuffy noses.

💜 Helps them actually sleep – Because let’s be honest, if they’re sleeping, we’re sleeping.

Treasured Roots Twist: Add a spoonful of honey for extra throat soothing and a squeeze of lemon for a vitamin C boost.

INGREDIENTS

1 cup (8oz) hot Water

1 tsp Treasured roots Lavender Chamomile Tea

1/2 tsp fresh lemon juice

1 tsp honey

1/4 tsp grated ginger (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Place 1 tsp tea into infuser, and add to favorite mug. Pour 8 oz boiling water over infuser and allow to steep for 3-5 minutes.

  2. Stir in the honey and lemon juice while the tea is still warm. If using ginger, add it at the start of steeping for stronger infusion.

  3. Take deep breaths of the lavender steam before sipping slowly. The warmth will help clear congestion and relax your body. Enjoy 2-3 cups daily for relief and relaxation.
